Lady Gaga Responds To Madonna’s Mockery!
Its safe to say Lady Gaga won this one, without stooping to Madonna’s level
It seems as though at a BTW Ball in Auckland that Lady Gaga seemed to address Madonna’s recent ‘Born This Way/Express Yourself Mash-UP’ with a powerful speech about her music, others music and the world we live in,
The once assigned ‘Queen of Pop’ Madonna, performed a mash up of the two songs on her MDNA tour, which we think was a strike at her younger, much more current and successful rival. It all seems like an attempt from Madonna to stay in the limelight as she obviously has a huge problem in accepting the fact that she is old (i.e. The Nipple)
In a concert in Auckland, New Zealand, while performing her song ‘Hair’, Lady Gaga took a moment to respond to Madonna saying:
“It sometimes makes people feel better about themselves to put other people down or make fun of them or maybe make mockery of their work.
“And that doesn’t make me feel good at all. That just makes me feel like I’m not being a good human being. I feel like if your a really good human being you can find something beautiful in every single human being no matter what”
Gaga who has been playing to sold out arenas all over the world went on to say “I don’t even want to fight back because it’s more important to me to keep writing music. Because that’s really all I care about, is the music… things are really different than they were 25 years ago, and that’s what makes Born This Way so relevant for me….We’re socially in a different place and it’s OK, we don’t have to all slice and hate each other any more.”
And my personal favourite “.. Be shady and ‘cunty’ like we all used to be” Haha’
It’s safe to say Madonna was asking for a reaction and she got one, but maybe not what she was expecting!
Check out this video for the entire speech and performance!!
